Mr. Burgin passed away peacefully Friday, March 21, 2014. Born in Spindale, N.C., he was a son of the late Charles Burnice Burgin and Ethel Lee Davis Burgin.
Mr. Burgin retired from the U.S. Army. He served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Broad River Masonic Lodge #377.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, John Wesley Burgin; sister, Rosa Lee B. Fincannon; and brother, Jennings Burgin.
