Mrs. Robert Benight

Mrs. Jessie C. Benight, 93, 2613 Jule Street, died this morning at a St. Joseph hospital, where she had been a patient since April 8. Death followed an illness of one year.
Born at Forest City, Mrs. Benight, the widow of Robert Maupin Benight, who died in 1955, had lived here the greater part of her life. Her parents were Daniel R. and Marian Davis Cales.* She belonged to First Baptist Church.
Survivors include twin nephews, Lester Isaacs, Muscatine, Iowa, and Chester Isaacs, Clarksdale, and one niece, Miss Mildred Isaacs, Maryville.
The body is at the Meierhoffer-Fleeman mortuary.
*Obituary states Jessie's mother was named Marian Davis Cales. Her mother's name was Maria Davis Calef.
