She was born August 8, 1890 at St. Clair County, Missouri, a daughter of the late Howard and Martha Pritchard Norris. January 6, 1914 she was married to Lon Coke, who died July 31 1941. March 4, 1946 she was married to Hughie McDonald. He died May 27, 1961.
Besides her husbands she was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, eight children, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Theodore Coke of Marissa and Lindberg Coke of Lenzburg; three daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Owens of Cutler, Mrs. James Georgia Reynolds of Granite City and Mrs. Marcella Smith of Coulterville; 36 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and two step-sons, Lindell McDonald of Ferguson, Mo. and William Hughie McDonald of Dupo.
The deceased was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services, followed by burial in the Marissa Cemetery, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Finger-Heil Funeral Home in Marissa, with Rev. Michael Quillman officiating.
