OBITUARY:

Mr. Norbet E. Waters

Mr. Norbet E. Waters, 79, of 206 Prospect Street Middletown, died Thursday, March 5 at his home. Born in Harmony, he was a son of the late John Calvin and Emma J. Haller Waters.

He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Middletown. He was a veteran of World War I and was a life member of American Disabled Veterans, 40 Hommes et 8 Chevaux local 651. He also received the military order of the Purple Heart and was a member of the Frederick Lodge No. 371 of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Frederick Aerie No. 1067, Fraternal Order of Eagles and a member of the American Legion of Frederick.

He is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Fannie Cline, Myersville; Mrs. Annie Brandenburg, and Mrs. Ruth Wiles, both of Middletown, and one brother, Clarence Waters of Freerick. Friends may call at the Bittle Funeral Home in Myersville after 6 p.m. Friday, March 7 until services there on Sunday afternoon, March 9 at 2 p.n. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery
