MRS. IDA CHITWOOD
Word has been received in this area of the death of Mrs. Ida Chitwood, 80 years old of Berkeley, California, formerly of Dyer. She has been in failing health for sometime, but her death from an apparent heart attack, was unexpected. Born and reared at Dyer, she was the daughter of John and Emma Stitson Warrick, and the wife of Millage Chitwood who died about 18 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Chitwood moved to California approximately 20 years ago. She was a Methodist.
Survivors are a daughter, three sons, a brother, two sisters and one grandson.
The funeral service was held in the Little Chapel of Flowers Mortuary at Berkeley on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial as in Berkeley Cemetery.
