Sherry Lynn Daniels Rogers, 68, of Indianapolis, died March 11, 2014. Sherry was born August 24, 1945 in Bradford, PA to Halford and Doris Palmer Daniels; they preceded her in death.

Sherry grew up in North Tonawanda, NY and graduated high school there. Mrs. Rogers worked in administration for several years at Commercial Credit Corporation before relocating to Indianapolis. After her relocation to Indianapolis, Sherry took her administrative skills to Methodist Hospital before retiring to care for her home. She was active in the Ladies Oriental Shrine and was a life member of the Smyrna Shrine Guild.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband of 25 years, Alex L. Rogers of Indianapolis; her sisters, Shelia Yaro (Walt) of North Tonawanda, NY and Pam Smith (Jim) of Grand Island, NY. Also surviving are her nieces, Amy Behlert (Mark) of Belcamp, MD, Stacy Yaro of North Tonawanda, NY, Brandi Holland (Tony) of Buffalo, NY; her nephew, Adam Yaro (Michelle) of North Tonawanda, NY; her stepdaughters, Julie Ball (Roland) of Prosper, TX and Cindy Rice (Jeff) of Ft. Worth, TX; 5 step grandchildren; and several cousins.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 28, 2014 at Wilson St. Pierre Southport Chapel , 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, IN with a Ladies Oriental Shrine service at 7 p.m.

A funeral service will take place 11 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church, 1525 Mulberry St., Zionsville, IN, Fr. C. Davies Reed officiating. Sherry will be buried next to her parents at McKean Memorial Park Cemetery in Bradford, PA.
