HALLMAN, Wayne Bertram May 27, 1929 - March 23, 2014 Ever strong in his faith and surrounded by his family, Wayne went to be with his Lord in the early hours of Sunday, March 23, 2014. Devoted husband to Katherine (nee Lehn), whom he married on September 25, 1954. Treasured father of Linda (Mike) Maguire, Dianne (Tim) Kirby and Brian (Christa) Hallman. Admired and adored Grandpa to Scott and Kelsey Kirby and Annadora Hallman. Preceded in death by his mother Winnifred (nee Becker); his father, Clayton Hallman and his second wife Cornelia; his brother, Ronald and parents-in-law, Nicholaus and Magdalena Lehn. Wayne's professional life was dedicated to Ledco Ltd where he worked for 40 years with skill and loyalty until his retirement. Devoted member at Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church where he worshipped faithfully and served in many capacities. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, March 27th at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 322 East Ave., Kitchener from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The funeral service to celebrate Wayne's life and faith will also take place at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Nolan Astley and Rev. Roland Syens officiating. A private family interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation, St. Mary's General Hospital Foundation or Holy Cross Lutheran Church Mission Fund will be gratefully acknowledged and can be arranged through the funeral home, www.erbgood.com or 519- 745-8445.
