DOLORES JANE "Dorry" McALLISTER, 81, of Falling Waters, W.Va., passed away peacefully Saturday, March 22, 2014, at her home. Born Aug. 7, 1932, in Greencastle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Rev. Frank G. and Mary Alice (Wagaman) Mentzer.

Dorry was self-employed in the Tri-State area as an interior decorator for many years. She was in the shuffleboard league for The Improved Order of Red Men Tribe 84 in Williamsport. Dorry was a passionate gardener and a true animal lover.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Lloyd McAllister; two sons, Jeffrey Lee Williams and wife, Donna, of Hagerstown, Md., and Terry Lee Williams and wife, Sharon, of Minot, N.D.; three sisters, Evelyn L. Hammond, Jean L Cook and Shirley A. Ryland; a daughter-in-law, Lori Williams of Sharpsburg, Md.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Allen Williams; three sisters, E. Alice Elliott, M. Frances Garner and Leila R. Thomas; and four brothers, David F. Mentzer, Daniel A. Mentzer, Paul E. Mentzer and Lester H. "Jim" Mentzer.

Funeral services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home, Hagerstown; burial was in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
