Miss Madonna Everhart, 83, of Lake Holiday, passed away at 4:18 p.m. Monday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis of natural causes.
Miss Everhart was born on May 11, 1923 in Ladoga to Frank and Maggie (Shubert) Everhart.
She was a 1941 graduate of Ladoga High School.
Miss Everhart was a proofreader at RR Donnelley for 40 years. She retired in 1982.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Lafayette. She was also a member of the Eagles and American Legion auxiliaries.
Survivors include her best friend, Betty Howard of Lake Holiday; a sister, Betty Willis of New Market; three nieces; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wayne Everhart, Howard Everhart and Eugene Everhart; and two sisters, Margaret McCollum and Marie Abbott.
Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St. in Crawfordsville with the Rev. David Block officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill North Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
