Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2005, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
Carolyn was severely limited in life, due to damage by the DPT vaccine she received at 10 months of age, which caused her many health problems, including severe seizures. She was a special person who brought much love and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a wonderful sweetness and always expressed her love to her family, caregivers, and to her preacher, as she referred to him, Bro. J. Walker Whittle. Carolyn was blessed with devoted parents who were able to care for her till the end with God's help. She will live in our hearts forever and be greatly missed. Carolyn's daddy, Claud W. Adams, passed away July 4, 2005. He had a hugh part in Carolyn's care and was so loved and missed by Carolyn.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Volner Adams of Scotts Hill; two sisters, Linda Myracle of Scotts Hill and Freeda Jones (Warren) of Henderson; one brother, Freddy Joe Adams of Scotts Hill; three nieces, LeAnn, Amy and Laura; and one nephew, Matthew.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, the late J.C. and Bessie Adams of Scotts Hill, the late Jim and Exie Volner of Decaturville.
