Bernice L. Herriman, 84, of Williamsport, died March 20, 2014, at The Meadows Assisted Living, Montoursville.

Born December 18, 1929, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of L. Earnest and Allene (Rose) Derr.

Bernice was the book keeper for their family business. She attended Christian Missionary Alliance Church and St. John's-Newberry United Methodist Church. She enjoyed mission trips to Africa and Brazil.

She is survived by five sons;
Earl E. "Skip" (Jane) Herriman, Jr., of Wilmington, Del.
Earnest E. (Barb) Herriman, of Cogan Station
Peter V. (Jeannie) Herriman, of Danielsville, Ga.
Jonathan M. (Susette) Herriman, of Bellefonte, Pa.
Nathan D. (Tammy Harding) Herriman, of Chatsworth, Ga.

Also survived by brother, L. Ernest Derr, Jr., of Cogan Station; sister, Jean Crain, of Williamsport;
10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Herriman, in 1990;
infant daughter, Theresa Lynn;
grand-daughter, Makayla Louise Herriman; grandson, Ethan E. Herriman; sisters, Elsie Derr, Edna A. Salayda, Sarah Hetzel, and Margaret Aunkst.

A family visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Monday, March 24, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport.
Private services and burial at Montoursville Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
