Duie Brown age 84 a resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday March 6, 2014 in a Chattanooga health care facility. He was the son of the late Charley Brown and Lillie Brown and was also preceded in death by his wife Charmie Ruth Brown and 3 children Diane Brown and twin boys Ray and Robert Brown, brothers Jackson Brown, Warren Brown, Virgil Brown, sisters Nora Davis, Omie Kibbler, Lillian Kerr and Carrie Pippenger.

He was retired from Honeywell/Bendix with over 15 years of service and was a very active member of the Washington Ave. Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons Lester Brown of McDonald, Charles Brown and Rickie Brown both of Cleveland, grandchildren Jennifer Branch, Jeffery Brown, Tim Goins and Marion Hardwick, sister Frances Brown and a brother John Brown. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Remembrance of life services will be held 7pm Monday evening at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Beecher White, Rev. Daniel White and Rev. Jackie Epperson officiating. Interment will follow in the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery with Deacons of the church serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.
