Surviving are his wife; two sons, Mitch (Mindy) Wolfe and Mark (Robyn) Wolfe; and four grandchildren, Greg, Derek, Drew and Colton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wilbur Wolfe.
Les was a U.S. Army veteran. He served as a Combat Engineer and received an honorable discharge in 1963.
Les began working for Caterpillar in 1963. He started as a metallurgical welder and later worked in Research and Development/Weld Engineering. He retired in 1993.
Les enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening and sharing his crop with family and friends. He was a superb cook and it filled his heart to see the enjoyment it brought to others. Les had a deep love for animals. He loved spending time in his yard feeding the birds and squirrels with his best buddy, Moe (Basset Hound), by his side.
