Viola Bubolz, 436 Roselawn Dr., Brillion Age 88, was received into the arms of
her Savior on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004. She was born Oct. 22, 1915 to Gustav and
Amanda (Pautz) Pantzlaff at Maribel. She married John J. Bubolz on July 10, 1935
at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Maribel. He preceded her in death on April 17,
1969.
She farmed side by side with John all their married life at their farm in the
Town of Maple Grove. After his death, she moved to Brillion where she worked for
the Brillion Canning Co. for many years. She was a member of St. John St. James
Lutheran Church in Reedsville. She also was a member of the Brillion Sr. Citizens
and looked forward to their Wednesday meetings. Viola enjoyed spending time with
her 18 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren and taking Sunday rides with her
family.
Survivors include her five children, Kenneth (Pat) Bubolz, Greendale; Shirley (Al)
Fischer, Brillion, Lorna (Kermit) Bastian, Reedsville, Joann Fischer, Reedsville,
Glen (Leigh) Bubolz, Kaukauna, 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, Mike
(Cindy) Bubolz and their children Logan and Alyssa, Pewaukee; Steve Bubolz, Kristin
Bubolz both of Greendale; Gregg (Laura) Bubolz, Mequon, Joy Piepenburg and special
friend Andy Schoeder and her children Ruben (Linda) Trista, Jordan, Davitt and
Dedra all of Brillion; Jean (Rick) Nicklaus and their children Craig, Kurt and
Kimberly all of Brillion; Jeff (Kay) Fischer and their children, Erin and Lauren
all of Brillion, Jerome (Sharon) Fischer and their children Elizabeth and Jacob,
Jody (Scott) Mullard and their children Ben and Heather of Chilton; Kathy (Dave)
Bashaw, Switzerland and their children Nathan, Jacob, Sarah and Joshua, Bill (Kay)
Bastian and their children Hailey, Kiley and Mackenzie of Fond du Lac; Bob Bastian
and special friend Chantel Grow, Manitowoc; Sue (Dale) Kiesow and their children,
Mark, Matthew and Amanda, Brillion; Sandy Fischer and special friend Paul Reinemann
and her children Nikki, Kurt and James Kiesow, Steve (Peggy) Fischer and their
children Taylor and McKinzie, Brillion; Sharie (Ken) Mack and their son McCoy,
Reedsville; Johnathan and Matthew Bubolz, Kaukauna, and many nieces, nephews and
friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, two brothers
and sisters-in-law, Ewald and Lillian Pantzlaff, Hugo and Elvira Pantzlaff, a
son-in-law Orville Fischer and five brothers-in-law, and five sisters-in-law.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Wieting Funeral
Home in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy L. Nommensen will officiate. Burial will be in
the St. John St. James Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Tuesday from 4 p.m.
until the time of service.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the hospice staff of
Theda Care and Dr. Lindo-Drusch and Dr. Richter for helping us make Mom’s last
days as comfortable as possible.
