ALBERTINE ZIMMERMANN

Funeral services for Mrs. August Zimmermann, Sr., for 73 years a resident of the township of Maple Grove, will be held from the family homestead Friday afternoon and from the Lutheran Church at Reedsville. Mrs. Zimmermann was 75 years of age and for the past number of years has been making her home on the old homestead with her son, Herman.
Advancing age and an attack of gallstones proved fatal to Mrs. Zimmermann, who had been ailing for some time. She died Monday night.

Mrs. Zimmermann was born in Milwaukee on October 28, 1853 and came to Manitowoc County and the town of Maple Grove in 1855, residing in that township for 75 years. In 1872 she married August Zimmermann who died in March of 1915.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. August Bleck, Manitowoc, Mrs. Anna Hogge, Reedsville and Mrs. John Jonas, town of Rockland, four sons, Albert, August, Herman and John, all of Maple Grove, two brothers, August Maertz of Antigo and Herman Maertz of the town of Maple Grove and one sister, Mrs. Lena Hintz, Brillion. Fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
