Mrs. Dorothy Denks(sic) died at her home north of this city last
Wednesday and was buried from St. John's Lutheran Church on Friday
afternoon. She was one of the early settlers of the Town of Two Rivers.
Her husband, Henry Denks died several years ago and she is survived by
but one daughter, the wife of Mrs. Henry Johannes of Manitowoc. She was
born January 15, 1829 in Rebau, Province of Saxony, Prussia. The funeral
was a large one.
