July 19, 1925 - February 15, 2013 Leah was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In her later years, the center of her life was her grandchildren. She is remembered for always adding the special touches such as keeping the cookie jar stocked with homemade chocolate chip cookies, brightening holidays with special decorations and treats, and her generosity. She was the youngest of 6 children. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in 1948. Leah enjoyed many activities. She enjoyed oil painting, ceramics, quilting, crocheting afghans, and a small silk floral business until her vision faded away due to macular degeneration. Leah was active in Woman's Thursday Club, Quilters Guild, and Macular and Friends. Leah is survived by [edited for privacy], four grandsons, two granddaughters, five great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. SERVICES ARE: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23rd, 2013, 1:00 P.M., AT TRINITY LIFE CENTER, SACRAMENTO .
