Son of Joseph Warren Frank and Ann Eliza Campbell and husband of Anna R. Bush, whom he married on March 11, 1909 in Cook County, Illinois.

In 1880, Fritz John Frank, aged 8, was shown living in the home of his parents, Joseph W. Frank, aged 39, and Eliza A. Frank, aged 35, in Emporium, Cameron, Pennsylvania, with siblings, Mittie P. Frank, aged 12, and Carl J. Frank, aged 11 months. His father was shown to be a prothonotary (court clerk).

In 1885, F.J. Frank, aged 14, was shown living in Emporia, Volusia, Fla., with parents, J.W. Frank, aged 45, and E.A. Frank, aged 41, with siblings, M.T. Frank, 18, and C.J. Frank, aged 6.

In 1905, Fritz J. Frank, aged 33, was shown living with his brother, Carl J. Frank, aged 24, on West 28th Street in Manhattan, NY. Fritz was shown to be a publisher.

In 1910, Fritz J. Frank, aged 36, could be found living in Mt. Pleasant, Westchester, NY with wife, Anna B. Frank, aged 28. Also living in the household were Edward J. Killey, aged 32, hired man, and Ellen Murphy, aged 39, servant.

On June 6, 1924, Fritz John Frank, of Pleasantville, NY, applied for a passport to sail to England, Ireland and France with his wife, Anna Bush Frank, aboard the S.S. Lancastria on July 3rd, 1924. He stated that he was born at Emporium, Cameron Co., Pa. on September 9th, 1871, the son of Joseph Warren Frank, deceased, and that his wife was born at Monmouth Beach, N.J. on July 20, 1881 and that they were married on March 11, 1909.
