Mrs. Hamilton of Franklin Street Dies
Mrs. Lola Hamilton, 84, of 332 South Franklin Street, died at 2am today at the County Home hospital. She had been in failing health for some time.
Mrs. Hamilton was a daughter of the late James and Lavina Evans and was born February 29, 1868, in Van Wert County. Her marriage to David Hamilton was solemnized December 27, 1888. She was a member of the Bethlehem AME Church.
Surviving with her husband are two brothers, John Evans of North Walnut Street and Gus Evans of North Harrison Street.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Tuesday at the Vore-Knoll Funeral Home and burial will be in Woodland cemetery.
