Thursday morning 3/13/14 my sweet husband and friend, James Stuckey, left this earthly realm and entered the heavenly one. He was a quiet a man who loved through servant hood. He was the most honest and steadfast man I knew. He was real with no pretense. And I shall miss him deeply and greatly.
James was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in March 2013 and pancreatic cancer in October 2013. His daughters Jaime Carrillo and Holly Blanchard were with us for 13 days loving and serving him to the end.
We will have a Celebration of Life in memory of James on Easter weekend Saturday, April 19th, 2014, 2:00 pm at Salmon Lake Park at the Sunshine Inn, Grapeland, Texas.
Casual attire. Just the way he would like it.
The invitation is to anyone and everyone who knew James and was influenced by his life. Please pass this on to others that would love to come.
With deep love and admiration,
Nancy Stuckey
James graduated from Latexo High School in 1971. He and his wife Nancy have called Grapeland home for the past 38 years, raising their two daughters and serving his community as a Grapeland Volunteer Firefighter. He was employed as a truck driver for Vulcraft with 37 years of safe service. He attended Grace Bible Church.
