Beverly Ruth McCoy – 78, Midwest City, Oklahoma, Went to be with the Lord Thursday July 22nd, 2010, at Integris Baptist Hospital. Born March 06, 1932 in Council Bluffs Iowa. She was the 5th generation of an only child of the parents both now deceased. Ruby Irene Hoyt and Harold Max Burbank. She was raised in Missouri Valley, Iowa which she always home in her heart. After high school she attended Colorado Woman's College and then continued her studies in Home Economics at OSU. It was at OSU she met the love of her life Vernon McCoy. She was married & totally devoted to him till his death in 1997. Together they had 3 children; Erin Kay Berry and Husband Randy of Jones, Ok, Michael and Gerry McCoy of Harrah, Ok and Kimberly Ann McCoy of Konawa, Ok. She has 3 grand children Ryan and wife Erica McCoy of Edmond, Ok., Suni and husband Jeff Jones of Choctaw, OK, Heather McCoy of Harrah, OK. She has 3 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, Michele Wooten of Midwest City, Josh and wife Amber Wooten of Midwest City and 4 step great grandchildren. A quiet woman who had a hard time loving herself yet never imagined that any of her children were less than perfect and if they were to stumble her support eternal; living her life for her family. A wonderful cook, friend in need, devout in her relationship with the Lord and is now at peace. No more trials, worries, just happiness. Mom, now you know just how much you meant. Services will be held on Wednesday July 28th, 2010 at 10:00 am in Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service in Midwest City under direction of Ford Funeral Service.
