Tombstone inscription: "Sacred to the memory of George Hobbs Esqr late of Barnaboy who departed this life the 30th of January 1838 Aged 72 years Also to the memory of John Hobbs and George Hobbs third and fourth sons of the above George Hobbs who died, the Former, 2nd July 1824 aged 28 years and the latter died 24th June 1832 aged 34 years Also lieth here the remains of Charlotte Augusta Matilda Hobbs wife of the above George Hobbs Senr who departed this life on the 30th June 1838 Aged 69 years Also lieth beneath this tomb the mortal remains of Jane wife of the above named George Hobbs Jun Died 23rd May 1845 Aged 39 years"
