Joshua "Marshall" Hawkins, Jr. 72, of Inman, SC passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Regional Hospice Home. He was the husband of Myra Jolley Hawkins.

Mr. Hawkins was a native of Spartanburg County and a son of the late Joshua and Mattie Dover Hawkins. He was a carpenter and a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church. He was also an avid gardener.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Otis Charles and Lisa Hawkins of Inman; a brother: James Hawkins of Moore, SC; sisters: Nellie Cooper of Gaffney, Josephine Emery of Ladson, SC, Thula Smalley of Chesnee, and Mary Brady of Boiling Springs; one grandchild: Chad Ridings and one great grandchild: Derek Ridings. He was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Sandy Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Phil Bailey officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29302.

The family will be at 506 Rainbow Lake Road, Boiling Springs.
