Mrs. Toni Miller, 81, died Monday morning, Feb. 27, at the home of her daughter in Ree Heights, following a stroke suffered several days ago.
Funeral services will be held at the Reck Funeral Home at Miller at 1:00 p.m. today, with the Rev. David Brown, Ree Heights in charge. Burial will be in Duncan Church Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be: John Puffer, John Kopecky, H. H. Gardner, LaMont Kopecky, Earl Kopecky, and Fred Sivertsen.
Toni Brothanek was born in Bohemia Dec. 28, 1879, and came to this country as a young girl. She was married to Simon Miller in 1898, at Stephan Mission, and the couple resided on a farm in Mondamin Township until 1932, when they moved to Clutier, Ia. She had made her home with her daughter since last summer.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, who died in infancy, and her husband, who died in July, 1955.
Her survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Mary Rychtarik, Aurora, Ill.; and Bessie, Mrs. Chas. Beranek, Ree Heights; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
