Mrs. Mary Eichhorn, 80, who resided with a daughter, Mrs. John Larrew, 2026 S. Cedar Street, died at the home Saturday after a long illness.

Mrs. Eichhorn was born February 23, 1865 in Ohio and in 1885, went to Hornick, la. In 1889 she was married to Mike Eichhorn at Remsen, la. He died 35 years ago.

Mrs. Eichhorn was a member of St. John's Evangelical church near Holly Springs.

Survivors are three sons, George of Correctionville, Herman of Hornick, and John of Anthon; five daughters, Mrs. Henry Schultz of Battle Creek, la., Mrs. Gus Bottjen of Hornick, Mrs. Fred Schumann and Mrs. Leo Schumann, both of Anthon, and Mrs. Larrew of Sioux City; a brother, Charles Rose of Gillett, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Weber of Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. Edward Weber of Mapleton, and 43 grandchildren.

Two other daughters, Mrs. William Bottjen and Mrs. William Schumann, preceded her in death.

The body was taken to the W Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside.
