ROSE, Aaron Daniel Age 62 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospice Unit on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 10:00 PM. He was born in Stanton, Kentucky on March 16, 1944 the son of Kelly and Elizabeth (Larrison) Rose. Dan was a veteran with the United States Army during the Vietnam Era from 1962 to 1965. He was employed as a truck driver for Cook United and attended Hamilton Christian Center. Dan was a member of Amvets Post #1983 and enjoyed camping, traveling, NASCAR races, and family gatherings. On September 26, 1964 in Hamilton he married Carol Davis. He is survived by his wife, Carol Rose of Hamilton; two sons, Greg Rose and his wife Melissa of Taylor Mill, Kentucky and Gary Rose and his wife Billie Jo of Brookville, Indiana; one daughter, Tonya Schmidtz and her husband Michael of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Travis, Brooklyn, and Brandon, as well as two on the way; a very special sister-in-law Tammy and her husband Jeff Schultheiss of Hamilton; two brothers, Don Rose and his wife Shirley of Galesburg, Michigan and Wayne Rose of Hamilton; two sisters, Lula Willis and her husband Wayne of Seven Mile and Marie Walters of Lexington, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, J.C. Rose and Robert Rose; and one sister, Ruth Arnold. Funeral Service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Johnny Wade Sloan of Hamilton Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held today, Friday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice, 11500 N. Lake Drive, Suite 400, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249. Dan's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Vitas Hospice and Caring Hearts for all their care and support.
