The remains of Mrs. Florence Wamsley-Rostad, who died in Seattle last Friday, were brought to Asotin and funeral was held and interment was made in the Asotin cemetery by the side of those of her father and mother.

Mrs. Rostad, whose maiden name was Florence Wamsley, was born November 18, 1870, in Cherokee, Iowa. When eight years of age, she came with her parents to Asotin and for twenty-eight years was a resident of this community. Later she went to Alaska, making her home at Fairbanks.

On December 20, 1920, she was united in marriage to Thomas Rostad, at Fairbanks.

The deceased leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, four sisters and three brothers, the names of whom are: Mrs. Carrie A. Taylor, Olympia; Miss Angie Wamsley, Asotin; Mrs. Evelyn Lougee, Spokane, Mrs. Lillie Marshall, Arizona; Samuel Wamsley, Dayton; William Wamsley, Oregon; and Arch Wamsley, Culdesac.
