The funeral services of Adolph Heller were held on Friday afternoon at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Carrie Meyer, of 570 High street, where he died on Wednesday, after a protracted illness. He was Austrian by birth. He came to Newark a small boy. He started to work by selling newspapers. He early developed a decided business ability, and later established the Heller soap factory on Plane street, which business proved very successful. He established the Clean Clothes Manufacturing Company, branches of which are established in other cities. He was also the originator and president of the Red Star Trading Stamp Company. There wasa large attendance of relatives and friends at the funeral and representatives of various organizations of which he was a member, among them being the Past Masters' Association, the Board of Trade, Progress Club, Hebrew Orphan Asylum, German Hospital and other charitable organizations. Rabbi Leucht, of the Temple B'nai Jeshurun, of which he was a member, conducted services at the house, and Triluminar Lodge, F. and A.M., of which he was a past member, concluded the services at Evergreen Cemetery. He leaves a wife and son and daughter. Mr. Heller had many friends.
