Goff, John, 65, b. 11 June 1851 near Valdosta, GA., d. 12 Feb. 1916. He moved to Florida about 1870 with his parents, settling near Mascott, Lake County. In 1898 he came to Punta Gorda. He was survived by his wife; sons James S. and John L. Goff; dau,. Janey Silcox and Mary Goodwin. Baptist. His hand-scribed stone has July for the month of death.
