EARL ACKER SERVICES FRIDAY
Earl F. Acker, age 69 of rural Coleman, died at the Veteran's Hospital in Saginaw Tuesday, November 29 following a long illness.
Born in Ingham County March 9, 1897, he was married to Isabel Letson in Vernon Township April 20, 1925. He was a retired oil field employee.
Survivors besides his wife are four sons Lorence and Lavern of rural Coleman, Leon of rural Clare and Duane of rural Coleman; one sister Mrs. Grace Thomson of Coleman; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. One son Donald preceded him in death in 1930.
Funeral services were held from the O'Laughlin Funeral Home in Coleman with Rev. Eugene Methner officiating. Burial was in Delwin Township Cemetery, Isabella County.
