Funeral for Nancy Brings Horse age 52 of Eagle Butte, South Dakota will be at 10:00 AM, MT on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at the H. V. Johnston Cultural Center in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. Rev. Norman Blue Coat, Rev. Tony Garter, Rev. Richard Charging Eagle and Deacon Dora Bruguier will be officiating. Burial will be in the UCC Cemetery in LaPlant, South Dakota under the direction of Oster Funeral Home of Mobridge, South Dakota. Nancy passed away on December 4, 2005 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Nancy Brings Horse was born on January 28, 1953 at the Old Cheyenne Agency to Phillip and Pearl Brings Horse.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Carlin (Gloria) Brings Horse of Promise, SD, Lavita (Bill) Miller, James Brings Horse, Mona Lisa Brings Horse, and Ty Little Hawk all of Eagle Butte, SD; her children, Conrad Brings Horse of Eagle Butte, SD, Melody (Wayne) Maynard of Pierre, SD, Emmett (Laurie) Bruguier of Eagle Butte, SD, Tomi (Tim) Dupris-Mahto of Eagle Butte, SD, Tahnee (Orville) Stands For-Mestes of Dupree, SD, Trent (Jacquelyn) Stands For-Red Bear of Eagle Butte, SD, Tina (Mark) Aungie of Eagle Butte, SD, Wallis Stands For of Eagle Butte, SD, Taryn (Robert Chasing Hawk, Jr.) Stands For of Eagle Butte, SD, and Tristan Stands For of Eagle Butte, SD; nineteen grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Pearl Brings Horse; Uncle, Dennis Bird Necklace; Aunt, Verda Bird Necklace; Sister, Gloria Brings Horse; and Brother, Darrel Brings Horse (Stillborn).

Casketbearers will be Trini Bird Necklace, Tracy High Elk, Tim Dupris Mahto, Jayme Two Crow, Mark Aungie, Francis Jewett, Orville Mestes, Jr., Wayne Maynard, Carlin Brings Horse, Jr., and Paul Stands For.
