James O. "Bud" Cutshall, 76, of Cecil Davis Road, died Monday evening at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. He would have been 77 years old April 11.

He was a farmer.

Mr. Cutshall was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

His family said he was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years: Betty Waneda Stills Cutshall; two sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmy and Jennifer Cutshall and Johnny and Sharon Cutshall; three daughters and sons-in-law: Pat and David Smelcer, Linda and Gale Manis, and Barbara Bible, all of Greene County; eight grandchildren: Julie Mease, Janet Sutherland, Lisa Gosnell, Renee Bledsoe, Crystal Bowlin, Leann Bible, James Bible, and Nicholas "Nick" Cutshall; eight great-grandchildren: Samuel "Sam" Mease, Justin Sutherland, Amber Gosnell, Colton Gosnell, Autumn Gosnell, Adam Manis, Shane Bledsoe, and Quintin Bowlin; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Johnny E. and Ann Cutshall and Tommy R. Cutshall, and a sister: Kate Chandley, all of Greene County; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a son of the late Ed and Mollie Hipps Cutshall and was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Angela Dawn Smelcer Hurst; three brothers: David Junior Cutshall, Henry Ford Cutshall, Jack Dempsey Cutshall; and two sisters: Hazel Lucille Morgan and Ruby Irene Gunter.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Larrie R. Pike will officiate.
Interment will be in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Terry Sauceman, Glenn Gosnell, Jason Sutherland, Dwight Mease, Brad Brown, Mikie Gosnell, Kenneth Gosnell, Danny Cutshall, and Ralph Hensley.
