Funeral services for Mrs. Frances J. Shelton, 75 will be 7pm Tuesday at the chapel of Seale Funeral Home Denham Springs; graveside services will be 1pm Wednesday at Union Grove Cemetery Montgomery, LA. Mrs. Shelton was born on June 5, 1938 in Port Arthur, Texas and departed this life on Monday morning August 12, 2013 at her home after an extended illness. She was a resident of Walker, a homemaker and a member of Walker Baptist Church. She enjoyed being an artist and her passion was time spent with her grandkids. She is preceded in death by her brother Donald Wayne Cordeau; parents John Henry and Bertha Mae Fountain Cordeau. Survivors include her husband of almost 50 years Gordon Shelton; her sons Gordon "Eddie" Shelton II and wife Joelle and Steven Mitchel Shelton; brother Gene Cordeau; grandchildren Courtney Mitchell, Hannah and Austin Shelton. Visitation will be Tuesday 5pm until 9pm. Memorials preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
