Ruby Pearl Achinelli passed away Friday, December 13th, at the age of 86.
Ruby is survived by her husband, Charles Achinelli of Fredericksburg; daughter, Connie Prade & husband Doug of New Braunfels; daughter-in-law, Clairlean Friedrich of Llano; grandchildren: Daryl Friedrich, Lauri Tomlinson, Kevin Prade, Kristi Sigman; 10 great grandchildren & sister, Penny Turrentine of Goldthwaite.
Ruby was born August 23, 1927, to A.C. Rossberg & Reba Virginia Smith Rossberg. As a small baby, she moved to the country in Llano County on a piece of land that was left to her grandmother by her grandmother's grandfather. She attended school at Bennett County School in Llano County. She met & married Erwin Friedrich on March 14, 1943. She then moved to a ranch in Doss, TX with her father's grandparents William Friedrich & Sophia Ellebracht Friedrich. Ruby & Erwin had 2 children; Ricky & Connie.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Ricky Freidrich, & 2 brothers: A.S. Rossberg, Jr. & Billy Gene Rossberg & her husband Erwin.
She owned & operated The Palace Theater & The Fredericksburg Drive-In for many years. In 1979, Ruby married Charles Achinelli.
The family will greet friends 4-6 p.m., Monday, December 16th, in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 17th, in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home, with Rev. David Priem officiating. Graveside services will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
