Deceased was born in Germany, but accompanied her parents to this country at the age of 5. The family home was made at Mayville, Wis. She had been living in Litchville Township during the last 14 years. Her husband preceded her in death last March.
The following children survive: Mrs. F. W. Miller, Mrs. Otto Busche, both of Prairie Township; Mrs. Nick Smith, Fairmount; Mrs. W. A. Miller, Rosebud, Herman, Robert and Oscar, on the old farm, and Edward of Camp PIke, Ark.
The funeral was held on Wednesday from the Griswold Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. Rev. Hummel officiated and the pallbearers were: W. F. Boelter, Henry Bubach, Bernard Schwartz, Claus Bassen, John Lebahn and Herman Boelter.
