Claude was born about 1683. He married Catherine Hebert in about1706, in Grand-Pré, Acadie. According to the Acadian Project, they are the parents of the following:
1) Claude (1708-abt 1810) md Judith Landry
2) Anne-Marie (1711-1759) md Paul Dugas
3) Marguerite (1714-1763) md (a) Germaine Theriot and (b) Vincent Landry
4) Joseph (1718-bef 1769) md Helene Landry
5) Elisabeth (1722-aft 1777) md Etienne LeBlanc
6) Pierre (1723-bef 1760) md Marie Richard
7) Jean (1725-1796)
8) Francoise (1727-1791) md Dominique Clouatre
9) Olivier (abt 1730-after1786) md (a) Euphrosine Landry and (b) Euphemie-Anastasie Breau
10) Charles (1734-1812) md Magdeleine Clouatre

He died after 1 October 1742, in probably Grand Pré, as that is where the family was living. He died prior to the deportation.
