Ann Kennard Perkins, 83, longtime resident of Blueberry Point in White Stone died on March 5th, 2014 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Mrs. Perkins was a vibrant woman who was loved by many in the community and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, Kathryn C. Perkins of White Stone, Christopher L. Perkins of Topping, his wife Ann H Perkins and two grandchildren, Molly Ann Perkins and Emily Jean Perkins; her brother Hunter Kennard and his wife Shirley and their children, Peter and Lisa of Annapolis, Maryland. A funeral service will be held 4:00 p. m. Monday, March 10 in Grace Episcopal Church Chapel with interment following in the church cemetery, where she will rest with her mother Elsie H. Kennard, father Henry W. Kennard and husband Guerrant A. (Perk) Perkins. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Virginia, P.O. Box 2098, Tappahannock, VA 22560.
