Hugh D. Alcorn, 76, of 422 1/2 S. Franklin St. died at 8"45 a.m. yesterday at the Titusville Hospital. he had been ill for the past two years. He was born in Gresham on May 7, 1879, a son of James and Cecilia Crawford Alcorn. On Han. 21, 1937, he married Vida Bixler of Mayfield Heights, O., at Jamestown, NY.
Mr. Alcorn had lived in Troy Township for ten years and in Hydetown for eight years before making his home in Titusville. He was formerly employed as manager of the Titusville office of the Postal Telegraph Company. He had been a house painter prior to that time.
Besides his wife, he leaves a brother, Joseph Alcorn of Youngstown, O....Burial will be in Kerr Hill Cemetery.
