DOVER-FOXCROFT – Daniel R. Neal, 62, formerly of Corinna, went to be with the Lord March 5, 2014. He was born May 10, 1951 in Rochester, NH, a son of Roger and Laura (Wheeler) Neal. He grew up in Barrington, NH on the old family farm.

He married Mary-Elizabeth Kimball in 1984 and together raised 3 children. Daniel loved his family and was a loving and devoted father. He was physically handicapped from an accident years before but that never stopped him from doing things with his children. He loved nature and history and loved taking his children on nature trips, to museums and participating in all of their school functions. He also enjoyed camping and playing his quitar. He spent many hours reading his Bible and was a member of the Pleasant Street Christian Church in Corinna for many years.

Daniel leaves behind his wife and daughters Racheal and partner Ben Nightingale of Garland, Bridget and partner Matt Pimental of North Anson; and son Benjamin and wife Ashley of Ripley; 12 grandchildren. He also is survived by 2 sisters, Jackie Kessler of Barrington, NH, and Polly Neal of Kansas; as well as a step brother, Fred Schulz of Rochester, NH.

A graveside funeral and committal service will be held in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Garland. (Crosby & Neal Funeral Home)
