The funeral of Mrs. Camsadel L. Hammond, widow of John T. Hammond, who died Thursday night at her home, 1315 Lafayette avenue, will take place today. Mrs. Hammond was the daughter of the late William S. Shipley and was born on the old Shipley homestead, "Andover," near Shipley's Station, Anne Arundel county. After her marriage to Mr. Hammond she went to live on the old Hammond estate, Snow Hill, where she lived for 50 years. Upon the death of her husband she moved to Baltimore, and had lived at the house in which she died.

Mrs. Hammond leaves 11 children, 34 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her children are Albert S., Howard R., William S., John T., Herbert, Clarence and Richardson T. Hammond, and Mrs. John T. Gies, Mrs. Herman T. Shriner, Mrs. Edgar T. Read and Mrs. John D. Stoll. her pallbearers will be her grandsons, John T., Reginald W., Albert S., Charles Ernest and William S. Hammond and J. Hammond Gies. The Rev. Samuel W. Coe will conduct the services and burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
