Jewell Haynes Dallas, 87, of 2203 Woodland Dr. Reidsville, NC, a loving wife, mother, & grandmother went to be with the Lord on Wednesday (March 5, 2014) at the Hospice Home of Rockingham Co.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00AM Saturday (March 8, 2014) at Woodmont United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium.
A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Carl and Ora Jewell Williams Haynes and lived her entire life in Rockingham County. She was a former Teacher's Assistant with the Rockingham Co. School System. Jewell was preceded in death by her husband: Armstead William "Bill" Dallas; 2 brothers: Rufus Oscar Haynes,& C. B. Haynes; 4 sisters: Carlene H. Jones, Mary Angel, Ester Belle Goolsby, & Annie Haynes.
Surviving are: sons: Danny H. Dallas & wife: Debra of Reidsville & W. Craig Dallas & wife: Pam of Edmond, OK; daughter: Kaye D. Mabe & husband: Alex of North Augusta, SC; grandchildren: Beth Fletcher, Paul Mabe IV, Kimberly Pardue, Kameron Dallas, Meredith Dallas, Haynes Dallas, Jayne Dallas, & Caroline Dallas; 4 great grandchildren; brothers: Robert Haynes & wife: Libby of Greensboro & Billy Haynes & wife: Margaret of Columbia, SC.
The family will see friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall of Woodmont United Methodist Church and at other times, they will be at the home of Danny & Debra Dallas 508 Pennrington Circle Reidsville, NC 27320.
