Mrs. Carolyn Hutchins Freeman, 59, of Carolina Commons, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday September 27, 2006, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC after several years of declining health.
Mrs. Freeman's funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at First Baptist Church in Summerfield, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A Guilford County native, Mrs. Freeman was born on July 14, 1947, the daughter of Ivey and Virginia Fulton Hutchins. She was known for her radiant smile and contagious laugh that will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member at First Baptist Church in Summerfield, and a 1965 graduate of Northwest High School. Carolyn had worked at the Sears Mail Order Center for over twenty years, and also worked at Southern Foods.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Virginia F. Hutchins of Summerfield, daughter, Jennifer Carol (Terry) Lambeth, Jr. of Walburg; sister, Pat (Kenneth) Priddy; and their daughter, Susan Robertson of Summerfield; and grandson, Trevor Lambeth. Also surviving is her very special friend, Dennis Isley, also a resident of Carolina Commons.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Ivey Hutchins. She held the Freeman family dear in her heart.
