Glenmore W. Hamilton, age 94, resident of Morning Pointe Assisted Living, passed away November 1, 2014 at Golden Living-Windwood. He was the longest member of Moran Baptist Church. He worked for the City of Clinton as a superintendent in the public works department until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jessie Webber Hamilton; first wife, Ernestine Hamilton; daughters, Sue Hamilton Patton and Joyce Glenda Anderson Hill; parents, Jerome and Cora Yarber Hamilton; brothers, James, Claude, Cecil and Jake Hamilton; sisters, Gladys Seeber and Lucille Massengill.

Daughter: Shirldine Dawes and husband Richard of Colorado
Sister: Helen Hatmaker and husband Casper of Michigan

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Moran Baptist Church in remembrance of Mr. Hamilton.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 5th from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Kenneth Seeber officiating. Graveside service will be Thursday, November 6th at 10:30AM at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Moran Baptist Church.
