Billy Adams was the son of the late Reo "Jack" and Hallie Mae (Yates) Adams. He worked for 38 years as an employee of Universal Fasteners and enjoyed farming. He served in the U.S. Army and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was active with the Fellowship Baptist Church in Anderson County for 54 years. He died at his home. He was 78 years old. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, two children and their spouses, three grandsons, two sisters, and a brother. Funeral: January 25, 2014 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Burial in the Akins Cemetery in Anderson County with military honors.
