Lora Maulsby Jensen was
born in Calhoun County on
the 15th day of September,
1896, the daughter of Shuman
and Mary Maulsby. She was
united in marriage to Chris
Jensen in 1918 and of this
union four children were
born: Mrs. Robert (Norma)
Arndt of Eagle Grove, Iowa;
Mrs. Elmer (Maxine) Gross of
Collins, Iowa; Max Jensen of
Newell; and Ray Jensen of
Lockport, New York.
Lora Jensen was widowed
in 1933 and left with four
children, the eldest fourteen
years of age, she fulfilled her
obligations as a loving, hard
working, and dedicated mother.
