Early Life/Education: Marcia was born in Provo, Utah, to Mark S. and Norma Elizabeth Christopherson Haws on July 18, 1942. She spent most of her childhood in Midvale, Utah. She was the middle child of three and attended schools in the Jordan School District and after moving her senior year, graduated from Provo High School.

Life's Work/Service/Interests: Marcia attended Brigham Young University where she received her Recreation Therapist degree. She married her sweetheart, Dennis R. Wright, on October 3, 1963, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They are the parents of six wonderful children, 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. They owned and operated Medallion Manor Nursing Home for over 30 years. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many positions and enjoyed serving wherever she was called. Marcia enjoyed reading, writing poetry, crossword puzzles, sitting on her big back porch and spending time with family. Marcia Ellen Haws Wright, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, peacefully at her home. She was 71.
Survived By: Her children: JoEllen (Gary) Herbert, Chris (Megan) Wright, Denise Wright, Jenni (Craig) Baum, Tim (Heidi) Wright, Lezlie (Merlin) Moyes, all of Provo; her sister, Lynne Buckner, of Lyman, WY; her brother, Drew (Millie) Haws, of Provo; aunts, cousins, many nieces and nephews.
