On May 15, 1903 Leentje Verwolf married in her birth place Ameide at the age of 20 years the four years older Govert Kooijman.

Her husband Goof was in March 1913 a bench worker (bankwerker). He became in Arnhem a driver of horse-drawn and, later on, electric trams. For extra income they had boarders and Leen cleaned houses of well-to-do people in Arnhem with a leased, modern vacuum cleaner.
On 18 April 1944 her husband Govert Kooijman died at the age of 65 years and without occupation in Arnhem, capital of the province Gelderland, located in the extreme eastern part of the Netherlands, close to Germany. Widow Leentje Verwolf died in Arnhem too, in May 1971, at the age of 88 years. They were both buried in Moskowa Cemetery at Arnhem. Source of Leentje's death data: granddaughter S.
