Martin Luther Farris Jr., 70, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2002 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion. Mr. Farris was born Aug. 6, 1932 in Miller City, son of Martin Luther Farris, Sr. and Lena (Phelps) Farris.
Mr. Farris was of the Pentecostal Faith and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired farmer and a lumberjack. Survivors include his wife, two daughters and three grandchildren.
