Clara Timm Chilton Times April 28, 1928

The community was saddened Tuesday when it learned of the death of Mrs. George Timm, who passed away at her home on a farm near the north city limits Tuesday afternoon,. Mrs. Timm had been suffering from poor health for some time and six months ago underwent an operation in the hope that it might bring relief. She never fully recovered her strength but until a few weeks previous to her death was able to be up and around. About two weeks ago her condition reached a critical stage and she failed gradually until death relieved her of her sufferings on Tuesday.

Mrs. George Timm, nee Clara Schabach, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schabach, was born in this city on May 14, 1886, spending her entire life here. On Sept. 30, 1913 she was united in marriage to George Timm and they made their home on the farm on North State Street upon which she resided until called by death. She is survived by her husband and one brother, William Schabach of this city.

Mrs. Timm was a high type of woman, broadminded, generous-hearted and charitable. Her sympathy was always with those in Distress and she gave expression to it in alms and deeds, not in mere words. She made her home a place of rest for those who were weary and in sorrow and encouraged many a one to take heart again.

Funeral services were held from St. Mary's church, Rev. Fr. H. E. Hunck officiating, with interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
