Mrs. Esther Soukup, 62, 632 Jefferson St., Wausau, died at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday in a Wausau hospital following long illness. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Helke East Chapel. The Rev. Robert Anderson of the First Presbyterian Church, Wausau, will officiate with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday. The former Esther Grabau was born July 11, 1906, in Wausau, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Grabau. Surviving are five sons, Ronald, Oshkosh, Jerry, Nekoosa, Russell, Wausau Route 4; Wayne, 122 S. Fifth Ave., Wausau, and Paul, Menasha; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Brooks, Mosinee Route 2; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Lamping, Sturtevant, and Mrs. Harold Buntrock. 1407 Emter St., Wausau, and 12 grandchildren.
